Interlibrary Loan is the service that gives you access to materials that Gabriele Library does not own.
Interlibrary Loan - We will continue to fill your requests as best we can during any closings on campus!
Please hold on to your books that need to be returned until campus re-opens. Don't worry about overdue books.
We understand that your research is important and we will do our best to fill your requests as best we can.
Keep in mind -
- Interlibrary Loan requests are contingent upon other libraries being operational.
- We cannot accept book requests.
- We will process electronic article requests as best we can.
- Hold on to your returned books until campus re-opens.
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is the service that gives you access to the resources of other libraries. You can use ILL to borrow books and get PDFs of articles and book chapters.
|Do you need just a CHAPTER or a few PAGES from a book?

|If you need to contact us with questions or problems regarding a particular request,
you must include the Request ID number.
|Do you want a text-message notification when your material comes in?
In your IUshare portal, open "communication preferences" and add your phone number.
Be sure to click on "save changes".
Patrons can login with their existing IU network account to create and manage their interlibrary loan requests.
