American Counseling Association - Contains information about state licensure, articles on ethics in counseling, counseling vs. social work, also information on recent legislation effecting the counseling profession, job postings and much more.

American Psychiatric Association - This site contains clinical information relating to diagnosis and treatment, including extensive practice guides which discuss the disease as well as treatments and implications of treatment. There is also public information and research resources. There is information for the lay person as well as the medical professional.

American Psychological Association - The APA site has lots of offer professionals, the general public as well as students. For professionals, there is the code of ethics, information about graduate studies, public policy effecting the profession, how to submit articles to an APA publication, and links to publications by the APA. The public will find full text information published by the APA regarding everything from AIDS to Parenting, as well as a searchable database of full-text psychology articles. There are also links to help find a psychologist as well as state laws relating to the practice of psychology. Students of psychology can find information about pursuing a career in psychology, info on membership to APA and conferences, excellent information on finding and using psychological tests, and links to state associations.
