BUBL - Selected internet resources covering all academic subject areas and catalogued according to DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification). All items are selected, evaluated, catalogued and described. Links are checked and fixed each month.

Complete Works of Shakespeare - All of Shakespeare's plays and poems on the web.

Le Chateau - This site connects to more than 100 electronic texts and numerous web sites that are related to French literature.

Literary Resources on the Web - "American Literature on the Web", movements, romance as a genre some notes.

Literature Links for American Studies - Links to Literature and Culture of the American 1950's (excellent); Walt Whitman Hypertext Archive; Stanford University's Dime Novels and Penny Dreadfuls; and sites on slavery, 19th-Century children's literature, and resources for teaching.

Luminarium - Features authors' essays and resources in medieval, Renaissance and 17th century English Literature.

Perspectives on American Literature - You can do a search on your subject and find out the primary works of that author, a bibliography to information about the author or his/her works, and questions to ask yourself as a guide to understanding the author.

The Shakespeare Web - This site aims to increase understanding of Shakespeare and his works by encouraging a dialogue through questions and answers.

The Victorian Web - Maintained at Brown University, this site provides numerous resources about the Victorian era, including essays, excerpts from primary sources, bibliographies, and images. Its focus goes beyond literature to include a picture of Victorian culture as a whole.

Voice of the Shuttle: Web Page for Humanities Research -This is a very comprehensive site covering nearly all of the humanities.
