Journal articles will be forwarded to your Immaculata e-mail address. Materials such as books, microfilm/fiche, and articles we receive in hardcopy form will need to be picked up from the ILL shelves at the reference desk.
To receive your request in a timely and accurate manner, please note the following:
- Fill out the request form accurately. If you leave out important citation information it will probably delay the process. Call the reference desk at 610-647-4400 X3829 for help.
- Check the On-line Catalog to determine if we own the item that you need. If we do, we will not request it from another library for you.
- You may submit up to five requests per day.
- We may not be able to borrow DVDs, CDs or Videos.
- We will send articles ONLY to your Immaculata e-mail address.
- Please delete articles from your mailbox as you use them to free up space for subsequent requests.
- You may need Adobe Reader to read a pdf attachment.
- Books, especially those coming from out of state, may take ten days to arrive. Please plan accordingly.
- Beginning 7 days after the due date, we will charge ALL interlibrary loan users a $1.00-per-day late fee for overdue materials.
- If the material is unavailable, please speak to a librarian about your research strategy. There may be other databases or resources that you have not yet explored that are readily available.
