Interlibrary loan (ILL) is the service that gives you access to the resources of other libraries. You can use ILL to borrow books and get PDFs of articles and book chapters.

IUshare’s platform is experiencing intermittent problems with notification emails.
Until this notice is removed, please check your account regularly for the status of your request.
Thank you for your patience.

Gabriele Library has moved to a new system, IUshare, to manage interlibrary loan. There is a new user interface, click here or the IUshare icon to the left, for creating and managing requests.

You will notice a few differences from the previous ILLiad system:

The new service shows all of your requests on a single page, links to articles, and details about the status of your requests and item due dates.
You also can submit new requests from this interface and ask for renewals.
The e-mails that we send you with status updates look slightly different as well.
You will also choose on your account page to receive notifications via email or sms text messages, or both.

Gabriele Library patrons may now log into the new interface HERE with their existing IU network account to create and manage interlibrary loan requests. Your old ILLiad login may no longer be valid.

We hope that these changes enhance your library experience and streamline how you manage your requests. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Carla Sands or Sr. Alice Schaebler or call the Interlibrary Loan office at 484-323-3826.
